Where is your phone number?! I lost my menu and looked over your site for about 20 minutes but couldn’t find your number. You should probably redesign your site so that the number is displayed somewhere. Beautiful menu but I couldn’t call to buy anything.

    Where are your business hours?

After calling you seven or eight times I decided to give up. It’s 8:30 in the evening are you open? Why can’t I get through on either line?

This is the first time I’ve tried to use your service.

Hi Julian! I’m so sorry about your terrible first experience at GHP! It’s certainly not the level of service we pride ourselves on I assure you. I had a quick look at the numbers; turns out with the rain and everything we just had a killer day. I’ve sent your comments onto John and Jade, this is definitely something we will look into. Would you mind if they contacted you via email if they have any further questions? By the way, our opening hours are 11am to 11pm :)

Haha! Well thanks I guess (since I designed that one too) ~ you can definitely say I was a fan too! But times change; we have big plans for the future and I had to get the site ready! Hopefully you’ve already had a look at some of the articles on the ‘site :)

  7. Washed away Monday blues with a massive Gung Ho! summer combo order to the Bespoke/AAB/Outdustry Office and it was superb!

Just one little request – in the future, can you please allow half and half pizza option for the combo order? We all were a fan of the Pesto Chicken Pizza we ordered, but I was dying to have some Pumpkin & Sweet Potato pizza too!!

Also, maybe you could allow upgrade to Large Salad in addition to upgrade to Large Pizza?

    You guys ROCK! x LDS

Aw thanks babes! Definitely hits the spot after a big weekend/night/bender! Interesting idea! It makes sense doesn’t it? I’ll ask operations and see if we can make it happen!

I’ll look into the salad thing too and see what we can do. We’re always looking for ways to keep the combos and specials interesting, and we have other exciting stuff in the pipeline too!

Hi, really love your pizza. One problem though, I don’t eat meat and really like pizza with pineapples and mushrooms. How come I can’t order the Hawaii Gung Ho and replace the Ham with mushrooms? I am happy to pay more but this has been refused for the second time I tried (the first time I tried I thought the girl on the other end just thought it was too much trouble). This would be the first pizza delivery where you can’t add toppings?? Which is a bit sad because you guys make the best pizza in Beijing imho but i love adjusting things a little bit, i.e. removing meat and adding veggies.

Hi Sebastian! Thanks for taking the time to give us this feedback! This is definitely a mistake, and for it to happen twice is definitely not the Gung Ho Way! We’ll address it during training this week and I’ll send your feedback up to the Gung Ho! Bros. Is it okay if they email you if they have further questions? Thanks for your time Sebastian! Rich.

    Hi Sebastian

Obviously a glitch in the training here, the customer rep should have prompted you to order a DIY pizza (Note: We don’t make changes to existing combination’s…just give you a matrix of options to select anything you want!) I’ll get onto it ASAP.

Thanks for the feedback dude…means alot.

Pizza was grand. Opted for the Pepperoni and Pesto Spinach: both fantastic. My only thoughts – why aren’t there chicken wings on the menu and would there be any harm in offering a thick crust option?

I agree that it is strange that you can’t add your own toppings. I wanna see some aubergine and a vege heavy non-meat Carnivore equivalent wouldn’t go a miss.

    Poor Annie!

Jade, John, Rich & Gung Ho! Team,

really a big fan of your Pizzas. Well actually not only me, but also my wifey and kid. The service so far has been great too, with the exception of one thing. I have tried to order jalepeño peppers on your Margharita, but the staff has declined and said it’s not possible. I understand that you don’t want changes to your existing Pizzas, but putting jalepeños on top shouldn’t be a big deal, right?

Actually Jade’s post here is the first time that I here you DO offer D.I.Y. pizzas, too. Where can I find the matrix of options, that you mentioned? I actually had got the word from your staff on the phone, that diy is NOT possible.

You’re right! It’s something we do, and we just addressed it last week! All that stuff goes into DIY, and yes it’s not on the website yet :( My bad. It’ll be on before next week.
It’s on the delivery menu too but in the meantime, a standard DIY pizza margherita base is 40rmb for medium and 55rmb for large, adding jalapeno peppers is +5rmb for medium and +10rmb for large.

      Hi Simon!

Cheers for the comment! Yup, John has definitely knocked it out of the park with the new dough. Though it’s really important for us to keep evolving, we’re pretty damn happy with it right now!

Yeah, no one likes raising prices, especially us. We’ve avoided it since we opened July last year but costs just keep going up.

On the service stuff, we’re really proud of it. If you ever think of anything we can do to improve it, to make service quicker or easier, let us know!

Ha! Go Felix! He’s a bit of a star. If you like, next time you get him, take a picture with him and email it to us with a comment and we’ll stick it on our website!

As website guy I keep pitching a “Gung Ho Idol” vote-off situation to John and Jade with fabulous prizes. Fingers crossed.

hello John, Jade and the Gung Ho team.
I love your salads, in fact i order from your Sunlitun store nearly everyday. I have tried every flavour on the menu and it’s all just fabulous!
but on one note, recently i ordered a tropical salad, it tasted great but i noticed the the vegetables weren’t properly washed because they still had dirt particles on the base of the leaf, more so on the arugula lettuces.
i ate it anyway, picking out the dirty veggies.
I’m pretty sure it was a one off, i’m going to order another salad today and fingers crossed on the arugula lettuce. :D

you really should offer different selections of pasta. If nothing else, a traditional flour, egg pasta that doesn’t include the unpleasant spinach/bitter after taste which is unavoidable with the current choice. Prevents me from ordering this pasta…

    Dear GungHo,

I am a loyal customer since the early days of GungHo. I just love your simple yet delicious pizza and salads + the no-fuss attitude.

BUT I have a bone to pick with you guys. I love cheese. That’s why I like to order my pizza with lots of it. In the beginning I was told: naahh, not possible. Later on I was happy I was not refused the simple yet most important extra: CHEESE. However, I keep ordering extra cheese, being charged for it, but when the pizza arrives I cannot make out the difference to ordering none. There is a decisive lack of cheesyness, just a sad millimeter of cheese barely covering the dough, despite the fact that i paid for my extra dose. That can’t be the gungho way!

So, please give me REALLY extra/more cheese, when you charge for it. Keyi ma?

Also, I noticed in November “extra cheese” was RMB 10, a couple of days ago I was charged RMB 18. What happened? Plus, dont forget: I wanna get what I paid for.

    Best, Paul

PS: There is an ominous “??” (double question mark) behind the cheese on the bill. I assume it may be charged, but the staff does not know, what to do with it?! just a guess….

Your delivery menu says ‘check website’ for details on using Gung Ho points. I’m sure that information is here somewhere, but it doesn’t exactly leap out, and I’ve just wasted a few minutes looking. Is this the best you can do? Why not put it on the menu?
