I’m sure you’ve all seen his incredible box design already, but here’s the face behind the artwork! We asked for something evocative of Winter in Beijing and boy did he deliver. Ice skating in Hou Hai is still one of earliest and most vivid memories in Beijing.

Detail alert! The portrait that Yan Cong sent me was a little too big for the space but it was so cute I had to use it. I ended up spitting it into two: the large box features Yan Cong (sans yifu), and the medium box features his actual cat (and occasional model), Xiao Shui looking up at him!
